Trials Biking.

How do people do stuff like this, and how would one get started?

With great difficulty! Trials is tough.

Get registered on trials-forum.co.uk, it's full of quite a few youngsters but there's also some people who really know their stuff on there, plus plenty of links to websites (tutorials).

Learn how to trackstand first, then look at pivoting around on the spot, then getting up simple obstacles, bunny hopping (both require you to learn how to unweight the rear of the bike), then look into how to drop off obstacles, eventually moving on to backhopping, side hopping and more advanced techniques.

Saw that video the other day. Amazing stuff. I used to dabble when I was younger but its bloody hard. Just practice loads and make sure you have somewhere good to practice.

what type of trials bike do you think you could get with £200 now. the answer is a poor heap or scrap. £600 will get you a good tarter bike but beware, its more physical than riding to a freind house via the road. echo rules

The popularity of trials biking has dropped massively in the past few years and there are some real bargain trials bikes around.
