Is anyone giving Christmas cards out to people at work? My mum claims I'm a total scrooge for not doing it. Its not that I dont get on with the people I work with, its just that I dont even know the first names of half the people in my department and I would feel kind of bad about only giving out cards to a handful of people and ignoring the rest. Mind you I'm far from the only one thats not doing it. I've only gotten one card so far myself and it doesnt even have my name in it.

And as I'm typing this the dozy mare that gave me it has just handed me another one. Identical to the last one too. I was too polite to point out she already gave me the other one a few days ago.

Nothing wrong with it at all, i rarely do cards to anyone but i suppose i can be a bit of a scrooge!
Id only do cards for people i know, i get along with all my office but non of us do cards.

I'd dread to think what the folk at my work would say if I gave them a card. Probably think I'm coming onto them.

Male dominated workplace = no cards.

She likes you. ;)

I think it's pointless giving a card to someone you see on a regular basis.

I bake a few cakes for the common room and write 1 card to all to go on the community card board. Most people here do similar with a tin of chocolates or Samosas (Om nom nom!) etc. It works well as there are plenty of naughty foods for people to enjoy :)

Good god no, but then I'm not in an office and we certainly don't subscribe to the metrosexual stuff.

So this, you wouldn't hear the last of it.

Don't get the whole cards thing as all the people I would want to wish a happy Christmas to I get the opportunity to say it to them, why would i want to then give them a card saying it!

So in short, no i don't give cards at work :p

Only for my old team who looked after me when I joined, only 9 of them as opposed to the 30+ in my current team (and I don't know half of their names!). They will get mince pies tomorrow though, which is better than a card. :)

Sent a few out to people who I work closely with not going to be giving my boss one as he is a bit of a ****

I don't give any christmas cards. I just mock up a photoshop christmas card every year and post it on my social networking site for everyone to see.

When I receive cards, I open them, read them and then straight into the recycling bin.

Instead of wasting money on christmas cards I donate £20 to charity

Hell no. Isn't that a women's thing?

Seriously? A guy can't give out a Christmas card without his manhood and sexuality coming in to question?
