Hi everyone, I have some knowledge about custom builds, but not enough to not make sure this is OK before I buy it! This will be used for BF3/MW3 the usual FPS fun!! Possibly Skyrim?

Does this work? I am worried about not having enough power or enough room in the case (GPU looks veeery big) It's a little more than I would like to spend, so if anyone knows cheaper alternatives I would appreciate it :p

If anyone could let me know that would be great, be nice to get this by the 23rd for something to do on Xmas day :)

Not sure on the cooler, but the Gelid tranquil is only £5 more ish and people on here swear by them.

GPU should be fine in that case, overall looks like a good spec, might want to grab some different RAM though just in case, the XMS3 should be ideal, low profile so no issues if you ever get a bigger heatsink or more ram.

Get a video card with 2GB VRAM. Tests show it makes a significant difference... especially in the games you intend on playing.

Just make sure the cooler clears the RAM... I'm sure it will, but always read a few reviews to find out. Or.. get low profile stuff.

Depends on his resolution and the settings he finds he wants to run, a 1Gb will be fine unless you're on large res/loads of AA and Ultra, for £/performance the 560ti 1Gb is pretty good.

use the code cmdouble to get £20 off so £772

with the cm 912 case you need to remove the removable hard disk drive cage to accommodate the long graphics card(310mm), there is a 'cage' with space for 3 drives so unless you're going over board in terms of hard disks/ssds you'll be fine. it also incleds a 2.5" to 3.5" adapter for fitting the ssd so you don't need to buy a separate one.

:D One last noob question before I spend some cash, that is the difference between the motherboard I chose and the one fowler002 chose, I am just kinda iffy about the price :/

The board you choose is much more feature rich and has the ability to run SLI and Crossfire at dual 8x, I think the Gigabyte only does Crossfire and is at 8x and 4x.

The cheaper board is good, and has been getting excellent reviews.
