What do you think? Real or fake?

I am not getting my hopes up but the logo links to http://www.half-life3.com/ which redirects to the orange box website so that must mean something?

Anyone can buy those addresses and redirect btw.

I have no hope of Half Life 3 ever appearing

Yep fake unfortunately. Website is registered to someone with nothing to do with Valve... also the logo is different from the one seen on a Valve employee a few weeks ago!!

Still exciting though, hopefully there'll be more of the same over the next few months!!

Fake, Valve tend to host their own sites, rather than get some random bloke to register it. That one isn't hosted by them.

How do you know it's not a trick designed to trick us by having it seemingly hosted by some randomer making it all tricky and stuff.

You think they went to the effort of getting some random bloke in Singapore to register hosting and a domain name on their behalf?

It's not like this is even one of their treasure hunts that they might want to obscure. It's shoving HL3 in your face. We know who make Half-Life, why would Valve want to hide that? :confused:

Would you bet money on it not being a hoax?
