2. Its not free for all, more team death match? Republic vs Empire. Your PVP is toggled off during the starter zones. The first time i came across any Republic players was early 20's. But even then leveling from 20 - 25 i saw none when questing. As far as ganking goes either the Republic side is non-existent or i'm not in the right area.

Hi - thanks for that. I've only just got online today and read your response.
I'm just guessing there aren't that many people on PvP servers, or it's like Fight Club and you've got to be on one to know about one!
I was thinking of starting a character on the PvP-RP server, I felt that might make for a more civilised experience. Also that server seems rather quiet compared to "Nightmare Lands" and "Rogue Moon" the two servers with my other characters on.

Is there any way to get anything near Sith Juggernaugt style armor for a Jedi Guardian (Dark Jedi)? Hoping she won't be running round looking all heroic!
 
I got my Sith Inquisitor to level 10 then chose Assassin as my advanced class. Feel I've made a grievous mistake as I'm not enjoying that character anymore. Quite tempted to start that character over as I was enjoying it until then.

Also going to delete my Frostclaw Inquisitor and start over as an IA, hope the guild people don't mind :)
 
I'm finding Guardian Defence spec quite boring in general questing but fun in flashpoints and other boss situations where I have to tank. I guess that makes sense really, I hope higher levels demands more traditional tank-healer-dps setups.

My Sith Sorcerer madness spec is just pure fun. I feel quite powerful with what I can do and questing is awesome.

I am still undecided on this - it is an interesting idea, but seems like too much of an easy path tbh.

More than anything I would like to be able to tweak the design of my character!

Apparently not, the republic armour is seriously lacking at the moment.

Force it though your graphics card control panel. Mine is forced to 16xEQ through CCC.
 
Im about level 80 in synthweaving on my Inquisitor and I'm wondering whether I should scrap it and go Biochem as it will probably be more profitalble endgame.

I reckon artifice will be more profitable, although saying that most people seem to have it - and will probably be running around with purple lightsabers endgame! I personally find biochem to be very useful, especially as a tank when the healers aren't quite keeping up. Hopefully it will be profitable endgame too :)
 
3 copies of the game and 3 timecards landed yesterday :)
Me and me mates sorted, albeit last minute by tesco Entertainment.

Been really enjoying it, likign my class altho not really played much group wise and when I did it was with higher level guildies where I didnt really need to tank lol.

Did a couple of flashpoints last night, seemed like good fun altho I slightly outlevelled them, just seems a bit of a faff about to get to. Gonna have to stop runnign around soloing stuff and get some group play in to learn to tank :p

Having only one taunt seems really odd tbh guess I need to play around a bit more to learn teh class. jus finishign off a few bits n bobs on the 2nd planet@level 23 but really not looking forwards to buying a mount, means Im gonna have to skip my crafting for a few days lol, Synt/Underworld/Archae alla round 190 atm

REALLY liking the space combat like, it's made me want a bigger screen lol.
Anyone running this on eyefinity? Does the game look alright or the stretched effect some games show?

The upgrades system has me confused tho lol, people constantly saying oranges are better but some of the Quest rewards adn even the blues I can craft seem way better.

I get a pretty big FPS hit if I force it via CCC.

It's not like my hardware is poor (over-clocked 6970 @ 940 , I5 2500k @ 4.5ghz, 16gb DDR 1600 RAM).

I'm dropping to around 30ish FPS in certain areas when playing windowed mode with forced AA/AF, never drop below 60 with no AA (v-sync on ofc).

Weird, I don't seem to take a hit at all. I am sure they will re-enable it in-game pretty soon tbh.

The flashpoints get progressively more difficult, even if you do out level them. They may be a pain to get to, but at least having them together means finding a group is pretty much instantaneous.

I find the single taunt annoying too, but you get an aoe taunt later on :cool:

Would have to agree with you on the space combat - was apprehensive in beta, but it is really fun and has a lot of potential.

I would disagree with the people that say orange is better - getting the upgrades can be expensive or hit and miss through quests. I currently have a few orange items, but will probably get rid of them when I get better gear.
 
i have taken biochem, bioanalysis and deplomacy, im so skint and i have no money to buy a 25 mount lol... i need to find a way to make cash quick

OH MAN! Completely forgot about the in came companion :o

I'm going to load up a Sith Warrior for some badass action in a bit then. Really like Sith!

Will be playing a goody goody Jedi though.
 
I can never sell anything on the bloody AH. I've even tried lowering the price under the recommended amount and still I'm lucky to make one sale. I dont even bother with green items now, only blue and orange stuff.
