Do any of you remember the first ever true friend you had? I met this girl in nursery and stupidly as the years went on I drifted away from her. I started hanging around with lads and the "jokers" clique. I just met her 5 minutes ago and I'm sad that we are total strangers to each other now.

If I could turn back time, I'd go back to when I was 3 years old and strive to be her best friend forever. :(

Most days I'm the happiest person in the world, but then random things just happen that make me feel like topping myself.

Sorry for the utterly random rambling. I just wanted to get this off my chest, and what better place than OcUK.

Tell her what you just told us.

Don't expect to able to pick straight up where you left off without there being some awkwardness and "catching up". She might feel the same way.

Friendships need maintaining. Of course they do. If you want to be friends again, you need to build it again by hanging out and talking.

Yup I had a girl friend (Just friends) I would probably call my best friend at the time, when I was in first school. But when we moved to Secondary School, we hardly spoke anymore. Just the way it goes I guess...

But she's got other friends now :(

And I'm always so self concious about what people think about me and its stopped me doing things I want to do. I could add her on FB but I think she'll think I'm an idiot :(

Go on a girl's forum. You'll probably see her saying the same thing.

Up do you. My opinion is, don't **** up again. Or add her, and risk looking stupid, or let her go.

You know what, I'm gonna give you the full story now.

My mum told me to stop hanging around with her because she was a girl and probably because she wasn't muslim. What did I know, I was only what 5 or 6?

**** sake.
**** religion. :(
