In bullet points to keep it simple
.
- I met a friend last Friday after work.
- We have a glass of wine each and she drives to the cinema.
- We have one more drink each with some food, then walk to the cinema from there.
- We watch the film and then we drive back to hers.
- On the way we see no end of Police stopping cars for breath tests. I 100% agree with this and see no issue with it.
- The person I am with starts (metaphorically) crapping her pants, saying she will 'get done'.
- We don't get pulled, but she then tells me before we left that she had another glass of wine and a vodka & coke (both without me knowing and before I arrived).
- I am quite angry that she drove to the cinema after 3 drinks with me in the car, yet she thinks I am being over the top. I am quite disappointed that I went in the car with her thinking she had had one drink.
- Needless to say, I had quite a go at her for having 3 drinks then going to the cinema, having one more drink before the film then driving home afterwards. Personally I think if she had been pulled she would have been OK, but should she have not been OK, I would have zero sympathy. It just is not worth the risk.
- She says it is no big deal she 'does it all the time'.
So, Overclockers UK, am I being over the top or am I well within my right to be mad at someone who let me get in the car with her when she had had 3 drinks, when I thought she had only had one drink (before we left)?
Edit - She tried to make me feel like I had OCD and was being stupid.
