This is the whole problem with the over the limit in the morning ..... how do you know , you just have to guess
Or don't drink the night before if you know you're going to be using the car the following day.
It's not rocket science.

I think any consumtion of alcohol = no driving at all.

This discussion is about when he is safe to drive. He is not consuming alcohol and then driving.
I'm surprised one of them under-reads. You'd think the manufacturer would want it to err on the side of caution.
I wonder if that could be used as a defence when you get to court; "my own breathalyser said I was fine to drive. Not my fault it was crap".
