Bad company 2 re-install

Re-formatted the HD,tho i have my game folder saved,tried installing origin and copying over the BC2 folder but only gives me 66% installed and starts dl`ing the rest.
Am i missing a trick here?

Yes you should have clicked "Bf3" DL!

Yeah it did that with bf3 for me when i put it on another HD. I think its re downloading stuff to prevent any hacks or w/e

Good news! I got it on disc so i might install later

I miss having c4 as a sniper sooo much

I love sniping but feel helpless when a tank rolls up.

Id be inclined to agree with this, what with the issues bf3 currently has. I know bfbc2 had a few niggles, but i played it again last week. Its so much smoother than bf3.

its better than bf3 with a proper pc feel and actual textures instead of bulky show graphics. lol ea trolled all bf3 owners on pc its a good looking console game .

once you have ranked you realize the game is shallow and inferior to earlier bf games. a lot wont admit to this as a lot have just dropped a lot of money on there pc to play this lacklustre pc game .

to those who enjoy it fair enough but in the grand sheme of things like most modern games its a money grabbing weak game with a short shelf life.

BF3 has its problems for sure and i would say is overall slightly disappointing, i would still say it is better than BC2 though.

I used to always play rush on BC2 as it was so frantic and had some epic sessions with it but i just find myself playing CQ on BF3 which is boring after a while and as for rush its no where close to BC2 imo

Rush on bfbc2 was fantastic fun. I loved c4'ing the m-coms and waiting for someone to try to arm them. That and the fact that it ran a lot better. Rush on bf3 doesnt feel the same at all.

Agree with this, on bfbc2 I only played rush was not too keen on conquest but on bf3 only enjoy conquest as rush is meh.

nah it will be dead by next itteration in oct

lost about 50,000 people in one month . theres about 100,000 peak on pc at moment you do the maths

i have bfbc2 + vietnam....I just never played it much as I wasnt gaming much last 1-2 years on PC

tbh I really like bf3 but sometimes I feel the games are pointless. Just running flag to flag, captuirn git, losint it, repeat.

I guess rush has more of a focused objective feel to it. But it makes the maps and gameplay less dynamic and more linear.
