Yeah, I was really pleasantly surprised to see it. I never really got into X3 (I've got X2 and X3 retail) but as a freebie, well really nice. Much nicer than some of the other things I could have got, although I've gotta say the whole thing is a pretty nice way to reward gamers, especially if people are lucky enough to get a decent 50% code and then it ends up in the sales on top

Perhaps it was the 'Buys wayyyy too much in the Steam sales achievement'

Decided to go ahead and do the Rise of Immortals thing. Was a stupid game, all 3 of us competing for assists meaning half the time low health enemies were left alive. Once I finally hit 10 assists, just ahead of the other 2, I took my dwarven gunner and just went on a rampage and racked up 15 kills and lots of assists for the other 2.

Its looking like they killed steam. My inventory and community in general keep breaking.
