Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner.

Anything else is a lie unless it's additional meals that aren't called "tea", tea is something that you drink made from tea leaves.

I think we need to have the ISO involved in this crucial topic.

Maybe we should go back to the Old English names for meals, whatever they were, and resolve the issue that way.

What if you're on an international flight and your body clock thinks it's time for your evening meal but the local time is 1500? And what if your plane is on a treadmill?

Breakfast Lunch Dinner during the working week.....

Breakfast Dinner Tea.....at weekends and holidays.

It just depends when you have the main meal.....have it early afternoon then the evening meal is Tea, have in the evening then it is dinner....

simples.

I call it dinner when I'm not going to have a cup of tea after dinner, when I am though, I call it Tea.

Problem?

London

Breakfast > Lunch > Dinner

If you have a double barrelled or hyphenated surname insert brunch, afternoon tea and high tea where applicable lol

Generally I just yell 'food' at the wife and it arrives.....sometimes with a little too much velocity...but it arrives......

My mum used to herald me from my 'cave' like this.... Don't think I've quite got the gf to do this yet. Although we do live with other people and not just on our own ATM...

And I have managed to somehow get the 'can you make me a sammich' to work a couple of times. But think she was just being nice:(

Southerner here and it's always been Breakfast > Lunch > Dinner, although it doesn't bother me people calling it 'tea' I will always think of it as tea and cake because of my nan.

I think in the old days traditionally 'tea' was 'tea and cakes' mid afternoon but now for some people 'tea' means having dinner at 'teatime' :p

Nope tea is definitely a mid afternoon snack. Also you have things like elevenzies... Which people seem to ignore....
