Personally i'd be a bit miffed if Lucas kicked the bucket and someone came along and said 'hey we're now going to make episode 7 8 and 9 but we will ignore all of the canon continuity of the expanded universe and we'll develop or own story'.

I'd love to see the Darth Bane books turned into a film/TV series. I'd love to get jiggy with Zannah, imagine the things she could plant in your............. head.

If you look at the Star Wars books that have been released, they could do a whole new trilogy, just based on Han Solo and his origin story. There are just too many stories to tell, the Clone Wars movie was cut down so much from the original concept, just look at the TV Show

I really enjoyed the bane books, I did find them a bit rushed though. As though from apprentice to master took such a short time. I find that in a few of the expanded universe books.

Currently reading the book set after revenge of the sith, the rise of lord vader. Nice book on how utterly useless vader was in the suit and how the emperor purposely put him in a gimp suit to hold him back and feed the anger. Nice book on how he starts to overcome the suits limitations and cull the remaining Jedi.

What's the book called? Sounds interesting though I do prefer the books set long before the films.

There's no point. The post-Jedi books/graphic novels are canon anyway and Lucas will still be tinkering with the original films when he pops his clogs.

Labyrinth of evil is a kinda prequel to revenge of the sith and Dark Lord the rise of Darth Vader follows it.

Both are a decent look at Anakins fall and rise in power as Vader. Also more back story into Palpatine and his web of lies.

I've enjoyed a lot of the prequel stuff just lately.
