Who has yet to do Christmas shopping?

Got all mine done in super, record time this year.

All online, only handed notes over the counter a couple of times.

Just got to mummify it all now.

I mean wrap... badly

I have all mine done by December 1st. The internet makes shopping easy, add to basket, checkout, job done

We don't really do presents but I feel the urge to break the mold this year. Just got to get myself into town... I just hate buying stuff knowing it will most likely be much cheaper in the sales!

Practically done all of mine with absolute minimal effort this year, couple of short bursts into the shops near closing times, quite pleasant for once. Just two more gifts to buy for the 'inlaws' and that's me.

Doesn't feel like Christmas at all. Or perhaps I'm just getting old! I can't be bothered with the hassle anymore, people and their manic spending just baffles me.

OMG help, I havnt bought anything yet and its Christmas eve already!!! Whatever shall I do

Oh wait, thats right, I dont celebrate Christmas. Derp!

On the topic of people leaving it until the last minute, I work part-time at a clothing retailer which at xmas means 40+ hours, unfortunately! Head of sales which means I deal with most of the bell ends.

Yesterday morning pre-9am the cash point across the road which is never used was completely queued out with 25+ people. The staff had to be briefed so we didn't open spot on time for the crowds, people proceeded to bang on the doors and point towards their watches in an attempt to get in. Despite sticking 4 till points on, there was a queue half way down the shop from 10am to 10pm, never letting up - to buy overpriced clothes and handbags!

Everyone was in a mad panic, acting like idiots, trying to get deductions on everything, never seen anything like it. People like that shouldn't be allowed out.

Roll on today!

I did mine Thursday I think. Got 4 presents, 2 for sister, 2 for mother. Sister bought something for dad today (still out) so that will do for him. Normally I never buy presents. Sister buys my present herself, sister buy's mum's and mum buys dads. Had to go out myself this time around though :(

I have to nip into town today....it's going to be manic isn't it :(

Probably not. From what I found working in retail in the past, shopping centres etc just die at about lunchtime. People have either started their celebrating or think it's going to be busy so they stay away. (Or, have been more organised and done their shopping by now ;) )

Good luck anyway! x
