Wow. I'm seriously worried about the mental health of the noobs that done this to that guy, hopefully they're found (probably will be) and justice will be served (unlikely).

Bit unfair to call them scum. Maybe they just need some money to feed their family at Christmas. There is a recession going on so some people do desperate things. Until you know the psychological condition these men are in, its unfair to judge them.

I think it's potentially worse at Christmas as most normal people would think that just MAYBE the scummers would give people a break at this time of year and "get with the program", so to speak.

It's just doubly disappointing to directly see that they're still at it despite the festive time of year.

Calling these types of people scum just alienates them further. We need to help them become civilised members of society and then next Christmas they can enjoy Christmas the proper way. Branding them scum won't get the guy back and it won't resolve the issues on a socio-economic level that exist. Would you have the same attitude if this was your son or daughter and they did this to feed your grandchildren? I suspect not! The thing is, these people need help, not abuse and further alienation from society.
