Woohoo, just ordered THE VERY LAST Silver Arrow in stock.
Looking forward to it being shipped. what configuration have you got your cooler set at?
Anyone have this cooler with OCZ Reaper ram? Hows the clearance?
Has anyone made changes to it like the fans?

The fans are never going to clear OCZ Reaper RAM so I don't think you have much choice with the configuration.

You'll very likely have to use the fans in a pull/pull configutation rather than push/push.

Ahh i thought that this might be the case. Any major impacts on using Pull/Pull instead of Push/Push?

Ok well thats good. will be getting new ram soon anyway. some low profile modules. probably about 8-12gb

From your sig. you have a Phenom II which has a dual channel memory controller.

You need to use an even number of sticks to maintain dual channel operation so the best upgrade from 4GB is 8GB (2x4GB) or 16GB (4x4GB).

You could get 2x8GB but these are expensive compared to 4GB sticks.

I will need to update my sig. i now have an i5-2500K and an Asrock z68 e4 gen3.
I will be getting rid of the old ram completely.

Do you know of any ram that will definitely fit properly? Also, do you know which ways the fan blow in pull pull.

You want RAM without fancy heat spreaders, the same size as this:

Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit

The fans have an arrow on them to show the direction of airflow.

If they won't fit over the RAM then you'll have to use a pull/pull configuration like this with the fans pulling air through the cooler:

Ahh i see, thankyou.
Yeah ill be getting two dual channel kits most likely.
Probably the 4x4gb like you said.
Yeah ill definitely have to do pull pull for now. judging by that image.

Thanks for your help.
Merry Christmas.
