What will be a year from now after Dec 21st 2012

To be honest i've never been happier. Don't over estimate how unimportant many of the essentials we think we need really are.

Also all the time spent by yourself to observe your own thoughts and the workings of your consciousness can have very profound effects.

I honestly have to question something because it has always confused me.... If you spend most of your time meditating and stuff, how do you have time to act on your thoughts?

You don't act but just observe them ;)

Eventualy you will see them for what they are.

Ok, so if you don't ever really act, then what is the point in life?

I don't mean to sound obtuse, however have tried meditating before fore half hour or so and tend to find myself thinking at the end of it that I wasted half an hour. I must say however I don't have a very restful mind..... As such I'm genuinely intrigued.

As for things we don't need I do quite like the idea of minimalist decorating of a house, not so sure about no computer gadgets though....

magick if you are happy and believe the world will end next year (or there will be major 'prophetic' changes), can you get a loan for about £10k and deposit it into my bank account? Obviously the materialistic side of life means little to you. It means a lot to me however. You wont have to pay it back as no one will come calling from the 22nd December onwards ;)

Personally I think there wont be major changes. A lot of the theories around 2012 (Nibiru, galactic alignment, passing through galactic plane, etc etc) have all been proven to be tripe.

The Mayans themselves have predictions for events leading all the way up to 4772 so they obviously did not think the world will end.

I always enjoy these theories though, they're enjoyable to look into.

I observe my own thoughts in piece and quite when I'm driving home from work along sweeping roads, an empty property does not make you think the same way!

I think Magick will turn around on Dec 22nd 2012 and go "lolOcUK, had you!".

To become self aware, break the wheel of Samsara and end suffering.

That's normal to be honest. It can take along time before you really start to see the benefits and clear your mind then the reverse starts to happen where doing 'normal' things will seem pointless and a waste of time.

By this time you will have many experiences on the internal worlds/realms seen the heavens and hells and know how illusionary and deceiving the physical plane we've been born into really is. It's literaly a prison made to seem like a paradise though never forget there are worse prisons in the realms i.e. Hell/Inferior worlds.

As for things we don't need I do quite like the idea of minimalist decorating of a house, not so sure about no computer gadgets though....

Minimalist is the way. Much better flow of energy to have rooms with just the basics in it. Will also help you a lot when you start to meditate.

If you want to know anything else just ask and i'll try and answer.

What are you going to do after the 21st? Vanish into thin air and never post again? It's pretty clear the world isn't going to end at any stretch.

I'll be in a jacuzzi with 6 yoga (read limber) teachers, 2 retarded dwarves and a goat.

I'm aware that having the dwarves in the mix is not big, nor clever.

Good times.

Personally I find it remarkably calming to go for a swim and think about my thoughts. The water helps me relax and calm. Yours is your drive home. Some peoples is meditating... Although I'm not sure I could spend 12 days a fortnight that calm, pensive and relaxed.... Whilst I don't agree with magicks original statement and arguably think it is a bit unusual, each to their own beliefs, and a large amount of respect for magick for expressing his when GD is well.... GD.....

If we're right and the world doesn't end in a year well I can't imagine how hard it would be to have your beliefs suddenly changed - mostly because I'm not a strong believer. I do know many ex-Christians though and when they lost their faith it certainly wasn't an easy thing for them because their entire world was turned upside down. We shouldn't be going 'lolMagick' but offering our support....

I hope in a few thousand years some people find some code I've written that only takes years upto 9999 and start predicting the end of the world on dec 31st 9999

If someoone else doesn't Im going to rip this thread up and rub it in your stupid face untill you look more retarded that you normally do. Then hopefully you'll realise the last 5 years of your life have been an epic waste of time, and you'll grow up.

Don't do something stupid like offing yourself on Christmas 2012, since you've probably alienated all of your family and friends with your obvious delusions.. if you're not a troll.
