of the gamer?

For example, I can and do play for example bf3 3-5hrs 5-7 days per week.

now this means I am in a state of war more than a real soldier lmao.

Apart from positives such as increasing my response time and concentration and hand to eye coordination do you think it has mental health negatives. Steeming from all the killing and warfare etc...

I mean it cant be healthy to go around in your head killing and having wars all day every day then trying to interact with society lmao. well its quite common nowadays I guess. But 20 years ago would be unbeliavable. Plus the games are so realistic these days.

Say I cant even play a game like condemed. I am in a very scared mood lol.

And if I play GTA a lot when I get in my car im thinking about driving GTA style. :D

Actually sod it, i'm really good at Dirt 3 with a lot of podiums and Wins online.. i'm gonna run a stage from Edmonton to Colindale in my 330d via North Circular.. any bets on an 11 mile time run? :p Flashing Yellow checkpoints!

Can.

Worms.

Closed.

It's obvious. If you have a problem with this sort of stuff after playing games then you were obviously more predisposed in the first place.

Same with films. Same with all media really. In fact, same with marijuana. Won't stop the nanny brigade with their "OMG WON'T SOMEONE THINK OF THE CHILDREN" argument, however. Some people just want to watch the world burn. Safe in their goggles and flame proof suit, of course.

Your never at any point in danger of dying from anything other than heart disease/obesity - nothing even remotely close to the stress and mental processing a real soldier goes through.

If you can't seperate make believe from reality you have far worse things to worry about than computer games.

It depends on your mental strength. If you're mentally weak, it probably will affect you in someway. However, if you're like the other 99% of the population, I doubt playing shooting games will have any effect on you.

Depends how malleable their minds are, as well as how impressionable they are.

The more impressionable, less sceptical mindset usually ends up as a first class moron.

Usually they end up killing themselves thinking that they can copy the violence in games, so it balances itself out anyway.

Either way, Christmas is hardly the time to be asking this question.
