Any one know how hard it would be to link the EK Copper-Plexi 5970 block to the XSPC Full Cover Razor?

Pretty sure that counts as a competeitior link, so get rid of it now.

As for linking, I presume you have 2 cards, why not just use the same type block for both cards?i.e. both ek o both xspc? Failing that, should be easy enough, might need a couple of angled fittings to make it a bit easier though.

I got rid of it "now" (manners go a long way you know).

Also, the reason for not using two of the same blocks is because I simply cannot find another EK Copper-Plexi block for a reasonable price; They retail for at least £100, where as the XSPC retails in at £50.

Thanks for the tip with angled fittings though, I've never done any water cooling before and didn't even know they existed. My only concern is that the cards are so close together that getting tubing onto the connectors is going to be difficult.

following the rules helps aswell ;)

it'll be a little awkward because you have to fit 2 fittings together that aren't aligned in a tight space.

Just buy the block and makeit work. otherwise, sell the EK block and get two XSPC ones

Yer I was just thinking to put this EK block on the MM and go for the two XSPC ones. After all, this rig is going straight on fleabay as soon as it's leak tested so having everything looking all pretty and actually matching will probably help the "sell" factor.

[edit]

Gone with two XSPC blocks, now just got to hope the two 5970's I have are reference design boards.
