What is your next car, and when do you plan on buying it?

For me, within the next 2 years (2012/2013) I will ditch the Focus and buy a Mini for the gf and me. Ideally I'm aiming for Q1 2013.

In the shorter term I want a VX220 by the end of next year.

In the longer term a 997 C2S or even a GT3 by the time I hit 30 (5 years away)
 
The only way is up. Will keep the 335i for probably 2-3 years and then look to move into an m3 or maybe an xkr if I could afford one (although a completely different beast to an m3).
 
Keeping the S2000 with a list of changes:

2 main ones in the next few years:

FI
Slight drop on new suspension kit to go along with the polybushing already done
 
Depends entirely if I get made redundant next year or not. If I do, then it'll be something in the £20k region, probably an E60 M5, Evo X, FD2 or similar. If I don't, then probably an Evo IX or another DC5.

Summer/Autumn next year.
 
Toyota Soarer, probably a v8. I want something bargey and comfy after the golf.

aiming for late 2012 according to current cash flow forecast.
 
After the massively underwhelming experience that was my previous car aspiration, I've learnt a lot more about what I really like about cars. Pretty much everything I want right now is present in my current car and the only thing that could replace it and be an improvement in every possible way is an F10 530/535 M Sport. Everything else would end up being an improvement in some areas but a compromise in others to make that improvement. And I think that really, what I want from a car is what I already have so my ideal next car would just be a newer version of where I am now. On paper the E60 530i M Sport is perfect, but I just cannot get on with them.

So that'll be next, but I'd imagine it'll be about 2 years before they have depreciated enough to not be a massive waste of money.

I keep having personal dilemmas every time I find a nice M5 on PH - last nights was an AUC example for £11k - but I'm not really sure it's 3 times the car I have now.

I think I'm just terminally boring as the idea of buying a Porsche 911 or something just doesn't appeal. Sigh.

I don't think my next car will be an improvement on the one I have due to commitments elsewhere with the other half, investments etc. If that weren't the case I'd probably be looking at another BMW or something German.
Going from my last thread, I decided to keep the M3 longer, and funds permitting, upgrade to a late 09 or newer DCT model.
 
I seam to looking at Xf's a lot and liking them more and more. I might have to go scratch my itch and have a few drives and work out what one would suit me best .

Jinxys car is what i want ;) but you never know untill you drive them i guess
