*****Official Star Wars: The Old Republic Thread*****

Interface needs improving. Hard to pick quest rewards as you have to close a pile of windows to see what mods you already have

Theres an option in the perferences to show detailed item tooltips (or something like that) and that'll let you see the stats of each installed mod in your items instead of just the total.

Makes it so much easier to see if mods are an upgrade or not.

Like you said nate that can be a work around but it can be such a pain to relog in some instances, its weird because I usually find it starts working again after a cut scene or a jump to a new area but like I said the worst is when you are in an instance and have a bag full.

Its understandable they cant fix the all the bugs but the ones I was saying about companions and especially the dismount on speeders should be very high priority. They are main features in the game that are constantly being used so should be fixed immediately considering you pay a monthly fee for the game!

These bugs will be fixed VERY quickly. Rather than them patching every few days and taking the servers down, I am expecting a very large patch in the near future.

I find it especially annoying when in a big fight e.g. tanking a world boss, and my companions come back with a report from their crew skill adventures. Really distracting!

:D:D:D

Same. Have nerdraged a few times over that, especially when annoying c3po voice comes back, I want to kill him as it is :p

Ye I know what you mean, hate coming out of a cutscene and instantly fighting a boss and then I get 3 popups of "crew skills" to accept haha.

How may I assist you further master? haha annoys me that!

Dont get me wrong I absolutely love this game and it does seem very polished but that doesnt stop me from moaning :)

Although it may be fixed soon it was beta tested for ages which is why I dont really think its an excuse. Anyway enough on the matter from me as I am going in circles :) time to playand enjoy the game instead of talk about it :D

So my Commando has a full beard, but when I equip a helmet (not full face) he gains a moustache!

I am enjoying this game so far. Currently level 16 and it's gotten a lot better as I've progressed.

I somewhat agree with the statements that the game feels more like a single player game rather than an MMO. But it can also feel like the latter as well. To me this isn't a bad thing at all, it is what you make it.

Thinking about rolling an alt to play, probably a Bounty Hunter, was going to do it on the server I'm already on but tempted to go onto Frostclaw instead and play with TDR... anyone from TDR know if that'll be alright? it's not a main, just an alt.

The Only major bug im getting is stuttering,i have to turn shadows to low or off.

I also get mega stuttering when using taxis sometimes, not always.

Sometimes i can play with shadows on high with no stuttering, its strange,no doubt a memory leak with the game.

Wouldn't say that makes me as bad, but point taken :)

How are The Immortals getting on?

Yeah agreed not quite as bad :D

We doing great, still growing at a rate, we seem to be taking a lot of people off other guilds the last week or so.

But on the other hand we have also picked up some undesirable, but as a guild we not gonna do much for about another month, so for now just watching and learning .. said before its a never a race to dominate, its when you make the move you need to be able stay there.

Its quite funny see the same comments in here, I saw in AoC, DC that the other side is dominating PvP, and as a guild we may have taken our own time, but anyone thats honest and was in either of those games with us will tell you till I left we totally dominated our server .... its not a sprint people its a marathon :D .. and damn we have stamina :p

Think I will be rolling my republic alt over there :)

I feel your pain. My Twi'lek knight cant have hoods. All they had to do his move their lekku's over their shoulder.

Shame really guess thats why they tried to make all the races as human as possible to save time...

Keep seeing cool npc's with races like Rodian and want to be one :(

As someone who had never played with anyone from OCUK prior to this game, I can recommend the immortals, it really is a very friendly and active guild.

I'm glad I rolled republic tbh, I enjoy being the underdog!

Unfortunately I can't decide between my Commando and Scoundrel as main chars and as a result neither of them is particularly high level!

Me to love being the Underdog, boring if we walked it from day one. Another thing you guys ever watch a kid play a game and see how quickly they soak it in, scary how fast the adapt to any new games, so yes the sith gonna be beating us for now ...lets last again in 6 months :)

All OcUKers are welcome in TDR - the more the merrier I say :)
