Anyone give me a hand on looking for a TV in the sales

I.E what models are good and will probobly come to my reqs.

£300 budget

Anything 32" or larger is fine. Bigger the better, but quality is more important (obviously not looking for top spec)
1080P
Freeview built in (HD would be nice..)

SOny 32cx523 is already available for £300.

But yeah, I'm also hoping for some good deals e.g. 42st30 sub £450.

I'm after a nice 42+" non-3d (not plasma) for sub 500... anything? Bigger the better really. Just going to watch BD and play games on it.

Spotted the Panny 42s30 on sale at £350 with 5 years warranty!!!
Seriously considering it over the £550 42st30 despite the inferior panel. I don't really need the 3d in the latter and would still need to buy a 3d bluray player and glasses separately.

Where be that?

I need a 40" max! I have a Panasonic 37" at the moment that's nearly 4 years old. I think I could just about squeeze a 40" into where it goes in my bedroom.

Any ideas? I can only find LED tv's and I'm not sure what they are like.

Panasonic 42ST30 reserved for me at £550 incl. 5 years warranty. The sale aspect was the inclusion of 2 pairs of 3d glasses in the package, which I may sell if I don't want. (Available £450 with no glasses and only 1yr warranty elsewhere but the package price was decent.)

All thanks to a £558 tax rebate received this morning. Otherwise I wasn't sure whether to splash the cash or not. Thank you for some good karma coming my way!
