£100-120 Nvidia or ATI?

personally i wouldn't run my rig from that PSU, but its possibly not really that bad.

Doesn't make much sense to me for OcUK to put their name to sub-standard PSUs. If that's the case then I'll just get my components elsewhere from now on.

The one you've got doesn't look too bad.

You really, really need to avoid ones like this:

OcUK Swift 650W Silent Power Supply

It's not just OcUK as any PSU sold by retailers under their own brand for cheap prices is likely to be a bit naff.

In future just stick to the quality brands whoever you buy from.

Yeah, slight over-reaction on my part. I thought £50 wasn't an unreasonable amount to spend on a PSU. To be honest I've always gone for exactly the sort of PSU you referenced and never had one fail, but I thought I'd spend a bit more this time around. It was just those comments sort of undermined my faith in my whole rig. I take things to heart too quickly at times. Thanks for the tips.

Anyway, it's all good. I've still my 460 to get yet!
