The legend is easier, bigger and cheaper if you want a taste. Massive game. AP is more of the same just harder and a bit shorter ( still massive ).
It depends if you can put up with the AI spotting you from 20m away and being constantly ambushed.
Myself I rather enjoyed it. I always stayed off-road which meant I avoided being constantly ambushed and a quick spray of the flamethrower in the direction of the enemies always sorted them out, especially whilst they were in the long grass looking for you.

I used to have it on the 360 way back when and yes the ai was a bitch and spotting enemies was a nightmare but it had such a great atmosphere to it. Ever since I sold it on I knew one day I'd want to play it again. Plus the Steam version has the DLC with it too so, win!

Brilliant, brilliant game I thought. Didn't know there was any DLC until this thread. Can't find it to download on it's own though, just as an inclusive to the full game. Anyone know if I pull down the Fortunes edition on Steam will the DLC just be able to piggy back on to my existing game? Love it but I don't think I could play it all again!
If you have got the Steam version of Far Cry 2, it is automatically upgraded to Far Cry 2 Fortune's Edition. I don't know where you get the DLC if you have the disc-based version.

I just got TDU2 I bought it on release for my 360 (before I got into PC gaming) and took it back to the shop the next day for a refund it was really glitchy back then now its a fiver I thought I would give it another go hopefully the glitches have been sorted and for a fiver its no great loss really. I am hoping for crysis in the sale at some point never had chance to play that.
So I guess trade discussion should be kept to the MM, eh?
