Streaming TV from PC to PS3?

The problem: I'm trying to watch NBA League pass (internet live stream/on demand) on the PS3, unfortunately JAVA isn't properly supported on the PS3 browser causing it not to work.

I was wondering if it is possible to play the live stream from my PC and somehow stream that on to my PS3?

TVersity is what springs to mind. Works fine on my iPad, yet to try it on the ps3 for the very thing you want.

I've tried to use Tversity for media streaming to no avail... but how would you stream a program from the PC?

As it would be like streaming the desktop view?

From what I remember you need to add the link/URL of the live stream to TVersity.
I've done that successfully with NBC iplayer content to stream to my iPad.

edit: got tversity to work....

You need pro to add internet links I believe? As I can't know if it will work or not I'm not going to pay... Are there any other methods
