Where do you guys get your info from on who will get an Up rating?
Is it just general opinion? Or have EA revealed it?
When will it happen?

edit: I don't really know anything about the price drop, just sold up because I won't be playing for a few months and wanted to be a gazillionaire when I do come back :p

As I said previous , if your not going to change your time then there is nothing to worry about. If you like chopping and changing your team then fair play you need to be flogging some of your best players.

If you have a settled team then no point to be selling just on the off chance you might make 50 k or something. Just my opinion of cause.
 
Indeed. I'm not selling as I'm not confident that I can make more money after the tax from selling them when rebuying, so I'll leave it.


...and just waste money on packs when the TOTY/UPs have been released. :p
 
I'm not sure on the progress of players in the Italian/Brazilian Leagues, anyone here you think might get a standout chance at TOTY:

Maicon
Chiellini
T Silva - Considering he got his IF this week, I am doubting it?
IF Marcelo (Thinking he may be one to sell as he could get an IF-esque UP)
Roberto Carlos
Dani Alves
Kaka
Neymar (More than likely to get an UP the same as his IF1?)
Ibra
Pato

Selling Aguero as we speak, only other player in my squad really worth much is Heskey, and the beast is going nowhere!!

I wouldn't be surprised to see Neymar get an UP, Silva might get a TOTY IF, Marcelo possibly an UP and maybe even Roberto Carlos - but is it not based on real-world performance so if they've been doing crap, even if they're great in-game, they won't get a boost?

Yet to see any of the beast performing in our games! :D He's the only player I aim to keep quiet :p:D

I've kept hold of my IF T. Silva for now in hope his price rises slightly after new TOTW is announced, is this a bad idea? Should I just get rid now?

Yeah, i can't see many from my starting 11 being TOTY candidates, the hope will be to grab 1 or 2 in packs if fortune falls my way and probably sell them on if I can't fit them in. Would be lovely to see Roberto Carlos get a boost, he is a beast, albeit underrated ingame already, half of me says sell IF Marcelo, wouldn't be surprised to see him & Abidal get UP's.. hm..

If it were me, I'd clear him out now tbh.
 
Why on earth would they upgrade Neymar, he's already 84 playing in the bloody Brazilian league with an 86 IF lying around somewhere :p

I was under the impression it was obvious players that got upgrades like Ramsey, Jones, Schezny (sp), Taylor etc.?
 
Any particular reason Nasri is on the bench?

If he starts normally then I would say a new LB, maybe Evra or Cole, I always found Clichy up the pitch, Evra works well with Ribery for me I would choose him

if you dont like using Nasri I would say Van der Vaart or Silver at CAM or Toure at CDM

Just my own personal opinion

Nasri is normally on, Milner comes on in the second half.

I have Enrique and Johnson as LB/RB on the subs bench.

Is Yaya or Torres worth the cash?

I'm contemplating getting rid of my EPL 4-3-3 team in favour of creating a 4-4-2 EPL team. I made a BBVA 4-4-2 and even thought the players aren't as good as my EPL team the formation seems to suit me more. Would be a big overall though.

Not sure, when I have played against them they have but I use Modric and Nasri in my CM and have cavani up front!

I hated Silver as a CM, when I had him in at CF he performed but I preferred Nasri as a CM to link with Ribery.
