Poor show. Saying that this is typically the least busiest period of the week does not change the fact that this is an atypical week where a lot more people are at home/working shorter hours and have the opportunty to play this game and get their moneys worth.

It was an interesting thread, aside from his contribution - some people got some epic gifts... me, I got £40 vouchers from my boss lol. I don't really celebrate Christmas though, mind you the £40 went towards a cool NERF Gun... I'm such a mature 26year old! :)

That 500k will vanish at level 50

Hell its 540,000 credits just for Rank 2 and Rank 3 Speeder Training, not forgetting the 200k you will need to train your skills at level 50.

Well they're going to have to forget about this whole "global" excuse and deal with it in a way that keeps the EU players happy. I bet they make up quite a large chunk of their target market, much like WoW did.

So far I'm liking the game, and I don't mind the break. I've had plenty else to do this afternoon, just watching Justified on DVD at the moment whilst surfing the net anyway :)

After what Eddietop just said about the slicing. I'm thinking maybe this patch was something they needed to roll out now as there was an economy breaking profession in the game. If they continue to apply patches during the EUs waking hours then, obviously, I'm wrong.
 
Can you ever balance a skill which by design gives you easy money.

I do nothing but pour money into my skills and I'm not seeing anything that resembles a profit yet.

Yes I (eventually) get useful items and occasionally sell some but they're massive sinkholes for money. Going to be a long time before I can look at them and say I can make money on any of it.

Since release I've been able to access the website ONCE. They're really starting to annoy me :/ You'd think they would A. host their server status page elsewhere, or B. not put a 6 hour patch on during peak times for half the users.
 
Glad i switched from slicing the other day after maxing it out, you get plenty of money just from playing the game anyway. I have Biochem now as it was annoying me that the purple reusable stims were restricted to people who had Biochem only. Whoever came up with that idea needs a good thump on the head as it means you can only sell the blue items to other people from Biochem.

It's a reall a mess!

I'm extremely disappointed in Bioware at this, I got the game yesterday and it was a great experiance, yet today is nothing but disappiontment.

Even some friends that just got the game today don't know what's going on since the site and game is offline.
