Careful, last time a couple of us started to get even remotely off topic in the old mw2 thread (despite the fact we were still talking about the game) got all sorts of abuse, apparently using the forums to talk is not the done thing
just noticed the campers? they've been around on hardcore from day one, they are like 'Foxtrot' -ing vermin, every single last corner is another sixth prestige camper waiting to stab you in the back. that is why I been using the grenade launcher a load and getting tons of abuse and hate mail, rather amusing but the simple fact is, camp and get grenade launcher shot up your behind...
I'd rather them implement a ranking system so the teams are more fair instead of there being 3-4 people in each game going massively negative and dragging their teams down as a result.
Though I admit I do enjoy putting a claymore down in the same spot and watching the same idiot run into it 5 or 6 times in a row.
you sir have a massive point, there needs to be a ranking system so much. sick and tired of getting stuck on a team on hardcore with a bunch of camping idiots, there needs to be a Halo 'playing style' option as well, to try to avoid getting put in games with those people constantly. cannot remember quite honestly the last game I was in that wasn't dominated by people with a tent pitched and sitting with sights on looking at a certain 'alley' or something. also like Crysis II (I think it was that!) where camping would result in your position getting revealed to everyone, that would discourage it.

That's why you fail, use two attachment weapon perk, marmite has to be used with cheese.
There's no way in hell that's legit. Yes it's annoying but would anyone ever stay in a game they had zero kills and 77 deaths. Only he had 4 deaths and no one else on his team had a single death. It's as though they only killed him so he could re ammo and left the rest.
I love the way he keeps banging on about world records, as though Norris McWhirter would really give a ****.
I'm not claiming it is, what I'm saying is that it's disgusting that they keep spawning in the same spot over and over again when they're staring straight at the spawn even though there are spawn points in the opposite corner and the enemy is no where near it.
Although you say that people wouldn't stay in the game when they're 0-77 I've seen people do exactly that in MW2 when the hacked lobbies were about, there were people getting rinsed on the other team who were 5 kills 133 deaths and they stayed in the game to the very end, they even stayed for the next game as well (probably hoping to be on the winning team).

I don't believe all but one player left, he had 4 deaths in the game and and all but one player was still there in the end, looking at the scoreboard and by some miracle they all had low rank, as though they were a 2nd account?
I do agree better matchmaking needs to be done in this game, there's no reason why with the number of players ranks cannot be matched more accurately. Then again they struggle with all the basics

In theory it gives matchmaking a free hand to select the best lobby where as a 50% fixed party lobby forces it to do the best it can.

Getting back on topic - played earlier on and was having a good run of games on S&D. Then all of sudden every game I went into was proper laggy

We were playing Domination on Mission earlier and I found myself near A flag so I hopped up on those baskets behind the wall and they did indeed keep spawning there even though I was staring straight at the spawn point, they just kept spawning on that one spot until the random decided to run in and switch the spawns. They could have very easily just spawned in the corner to the right of me and nobody could have shot them, but they just kept spawning on that one spot.
It really needs fixing because a decent team could really exploit that with the right set up.
