Don't ask me why ?

Just been buying his films over the last couple of months. I actually find watching his films so relaxing before going to bed, even in black and white.

Films I've watched so far are:

The Enforcer.
Key Largo.
Sahara.
Casablanca.
The Big Sleep.
In a lonely Place.

I really liked " In a Lonely Place" I just find the guy so interesting and his presence to the movies he was in are so natural.

Three more films just arrived today.

The Treasure of the Sierra Madre.
High Sierra.
The Maltese Falcon.

They surely don't make them, like that, anymore.

Casablanca is fantastic. As is The African Queen. Got that on Blu-ray. I'd seen parts of it before as a child when it was on TV but never realised it was a mega Hollywood star in the lead role. If you've not seen The African Queen, do so!!

I've just got The Maltese Falcon to watch as well.

Just watch them all he's Awesome, Same with old B&W Cagney movies, Errol Flynn was a right Dude as well.
Special mention for my fave though which is Stanley Baker in Hell Drivers.

Stars - if anything Hepburn was bigger, and was certainly a better actor.

Yup, got Hell Drivers as well....another classic "The Hill"

Another call for The African Queen also To Have and Have Not and The Caine Mutiny. Actually 4T5 is right, watch them all!

To Have and Have Not is one of the greatest films of all time. Bogie and Bacall together for the first time.
So many great quotes from it too.
