Nope, only have Resistance 3 at the moment and it was about a moment in that (mission 6?). I was a tad worried about the first few missions (run forward to a new section... kill the enemies... move forward.... etc) but things are looking better now.

It all looks lovely too, although I'm playing with the composite cable... looking forward to the HDMI tomorrow :)

All the other games are scheduled to show up tomorrow... I think I may have ordered more than I can play :eek:

Currently playing through resistance 3 but I have so many games to go through that it probably isn't worth me pestering you for the other two this point. However, the offer re-dreamcast games still stands so just let me know and I'll be happy to send over one or two! :)

Cheers, maybe should get a list of the games you got :p, also noticed your Resi thread, did you pick up Resi 4 HD or CV HD of PSN?

No, I have RE4 on the GC and CV on the dreamcast... you are more than welcome to the latter ;)

I heard that the HD bit of the title is a lie, and that RE4 on the PSN is a lazy port that looks worse than the original :eek:

However I also heard it has some bonus goodies... so it can't be all bad. I'll email you a list of games to go at some point soon :)

Now tempted to get the original RE on the PSN for £4, hmm!

I used to play RE a lot on PS1, got it for free on PSN other month and I just couldn't play it, this zombie was coming at me, I was trying to stab it and nothing was happening :(
 
Might want to pick up another DS3 controller, God of War HD collection will see one of them broke by the time you're finished lol those games are button mashing happy at times..!!

Welcome to the world of uncharted as well. Uncharted 1 will set you up for the most epic game ever.. uncharted 2!! Which will simply blow you away, one of the best looking games this gen, only really outdone (slightly lol ) by uncharted 3.

I just finished through Uncharted, wow, what a game! The presentation was so slick, it really way like playing a film! I loved that cast and Drake reminded me of Flynn Ryder from Tangled.

I ploughed through on the hard difficulty, which was at times frustrating, but generally ok... until the final level, 'showdown', that was just sadistic - I refuse to believe someone could make it through to that first checkpoint multiple times in a row! I had to switch to the normal difficulty setting just to make it through after 40 minutes of dying in about 30 seconds.... or if I battled for 5 minutes, get instantly munched in the second 'room' and had to start over... gah.

I'm looking forward to number 2, I just hope it doesn't slip up as the ending as much, because that ending actually tainted the experience for me.
 
The second is an amazing game, it was actually the first Playstation 3 exclusive that I played! Fantastic, it surpasses the original in every possible way in my opinion. :)

I haven't put it in yet! Played through it on 360 and it was good, but I'm waiting for my brother to co-op with me :)

I'm currently in a love / hate relationship with God of War. I like the combos available but sometimes mashing square gets the best results, so that can get a bit repetitive. I like the presentation and how the story is told. I'm currently on the upper levels of the Pandora dungeon... my god this is one freaking huge and mega-sweet dungeon, Zelda, take note!

Ultimately though, I find it quite a difficult game and a frustrating one too. Whilst the hideous R2 button is my main gripe (see other thread on crappy controls), I find some of battles difficult when there are high numbers of enemies. Also I'm a little disappointed that the excellent boss battle on the first level hasn't been beaten, nothing has come close yet in terms of entertainment. Still, I'm going to finish it... might give myself a long break before I attempt GoW2.

Uncharted 2 is a perfect sequel. It's everything from the first game but 5x better. You will not be disappointed.
 
Bit out of the non fifa / mmo gaming loop recently, but staying remotely on topic :P Are there any good platform games at the min? I know a new rayman just got released, but was thinking something a bit more serious
 
Jesus, I seem to be a magnet to **** boss fights at the moment.

I'm on the final final boss on God of War now and oh my word is it rage inducing. He has a move that's practically impossible to avoid - this little gay 'poof' followed by an attack by his back tentacles. It is SOOO cheap, sooo cheap!!!! You can avoid it by back rolling but whenever this happens he decides to use his sword instead so it's basically hope to god that you have correctly randomly guessed roll back or block. It's so crap, hoping that a boss doesn't use a certain move is not a skill and it's definitely not fun.

Perhaps I'm not as patient as I used to be or games are simply tending to have you ride out on luck. It really is crap.

Perhaps I don't possess the physic abilities (or skill) needed to beat him.

EDIT - just for clarification, this boss is really really really gay.

EDIT 2 - I am never playing that game again.

It's actually the first game I'm stuck on :p

I've looked at a few vids and he does said annoying 'poof' move relentlessly in my game yet barely at all in any vids I find? :confused:
