Is this Nexus deal any good?

Just chased mine up, delayed due to a credit check problem! Vodafone have advised Phones4U that I have an outstanding balance with them....

I've not been with Vodafone for years and when I was it was on a contract / direct debit so there is absolutely zero balance on my name!

Phones4U advised I should speak to Vodafone. Spoke to Vodafone, they naturally have no details of any outstanding balance assigned to me.

Spoke to Phones4U with this info and my order has now been escalated again with an advised 48 hour turn around :(

Not good :(

I got the dispatch email today, it will be delivered tomorrow... However i wont be in from 1pm onwards :/

Heres hoping for an early delivery! :D

I just managed to get o2 to match it... well they are charging me £1 more a month, but giving me 20 picture messages. Figured its worth it as I use a few of them a month.

I got them to match the £100 for the phone, I know i'd get cashback of £50 but i'd need to get the vodafone suresignal as o2 is the only network that works in my office at work. So guessed its about the same.

Still don't have mine..... I have however had the email confirming the order is being progressed after a successful credit check.

I had to physically walk into a Phones4U store to fax across my passport and a utility bill. Something had seriously screwed up here, I have zero debts and never missed a credit payment in my life!

Well here's hoping they manage to post it after the bank holiday.

tempted by this , how does it work with P4U, can you keep you current mobile number etc ? ive only ever been on orange.

You need to request a PAC code from orange, you can then enter it when you order the new contract from P4U. They will give you a temporary number and your number will be changed over in a couple of days.

I tried to order a PAC code from o2 and instead they just matched the vodafone deal.

Lucky you! I rang three and told them the deal for the sensation xe on the p4u site. He said it may be to good to be true and that he is sorry that after being a customer for 6 years I am leaving and that was it! Wasn't offered anything even though I stated I didn't really want to leave three but upgrades didn't me offer anything other than new customer tarrifs
