HELP - Advice on weird gfx ghosting on screen

Hi
If you look at this video you can see a weird sort of red ghosting appearing when I move the view in Skyrim (happens in other games too, though perhaps not as noticeable).

What would be causing this? MY PC spec is in my sig.

everything's pretty much stock... I was thinking it's maybe my monitor...?

What is your make and model?

LG L226WTQ (Though its a good few years old, it doesn't look the same as the one of the LG website).

Try the monitor on another PC if you can? It looks like it may be the monitor on it's way out.

Or try connecting to another monitor or TV. Does the same thing happen whilst watching videos?

Looks to be a possibly failing Graphics card or driver issue.

The gfx card is pretty much brand new and the drivers are the latest, installed after a fresh OS install.

Brand new stuff can fail, in fact thats when they fail more often than not imo. Have you another card to try?

Unfortunately not! Will see how it looks on my Samsung TV and go from there.

Looks like a monitor problem.

I would try the monitor in another PC as suggested above though to be as sure as possible before buying a new one.

Don't think I can get my hands on another computer with games installed on it (+that could run them).

Also, it does happen in other games, but not as noticeable + I've been playing a lot of Skyrim so have probably just noticed it more then. It also only seems to be very noticeable at night (night time in Skyrim that is). Must be something to do with the dark/light changes.
