*****Official Star Wars: The Old Republic Thread*****

Spent the past few days levelling up, finally got to level 32 and I'm still finding the game impossible. Granted by missions are all level 30 but still, would have though that should make it a little easier :o

Can't afford to repair my armour either let alone buy a health pack.

Is anyone on Flames of the Crucible server?

I only got round to installing the game yesterday got it for Christmas and I setup a tropper on Flames of the Crucible currently level 7

Can I move it to another server ??

Which server can I create a new character on so I can join a OCUK guild? Looks like Frostclaw is now full

No you cant move it but if you only level 7 not much in mmo terms, specially if you think you could be playing the game in 4 years time still.

We The Immortals are on Niman PvP EU/EN server, and pretty sure now we have more Ocuk'ers in our guild than all the other ocuk guilds combined.

It already is, there are so many of them everywhere. Fine by me, means as a tank I am always in demand :cool:

My alt will probably be a sorcerer.

How come they are so popular anyway? I remember them being a little OP early in the beta. Is that still the case?

Im guessing its cause they look like the "Sith" in the movies when you select your character, I didnt read up about it beforehand just choose them cause it sounded good and I was going to heal anyway.

Can't see many people being decent at healing though, at level 21 you only have 2 heals and I just see most spam heal and run out of Force within 10 seconds.

Healing is awesome when you get higher though - as the mirror class being a Sage on Republic and specced to heal - I can heal my way through 1:1 fights on PvP :) - plenty of force.

There kind of are with the codex, but I like that it isn't too forced.

On Alderaan now, and nearly level 33. I could easily move to the next place, but am loving the story - the typical MMO grind is so well hidden with this game. So far, I think Alderaan is one of my favourite places.

Have finally started to make some decent cash on the exchange through biochem crafting :)

No idea how I am going to get to level 50 once I start back to work, considering it takes me a day to get about 1 1/2 levels - gf distractions don't help :p

I'm surprised but I actually miss them. Hated them when they were first introduced but I find they add a lot at endgame as you can give yourself other goals rather than raid or pvp. I'm hoping it's something they'll add.

On another note because no one answered before....... Is the story still as strong after act 1 and achieving legacy? Di you still have a class story?
 
been taking the day off from playing got my troopers up to level 43 and not back to work till thursday =] so doing some other work today before I get back 2 it
