*****Official Star Wars: The Old Republic Thread*****

Can the members of TDR be sure to register in the OcUK guild portal at http://www.beyondtheclock.com/ - will make it much easier to organise raids etc. rather than using this giant thread for everything!

This might be old news to some, but it was a good read -

Those 1 million+ players have already managed to log 60 million in-game hours. During that time 260 million quests have been completed, 44 million PvP battles have taken place, and 3 billion NPCs have been killed. BioWare’s game has also managed to create 850,000 Sith Warriors and 810,000 Jedi Knights, suggesting the dark side may be winning.

3 billion NPCs already :D

How are all the other OcUK/friends guilds getting on? Wish we could all have been in the same one :( - or at least on the same server!

After the success of last nights WGL XMAS Cup, I will be hitting SWTOR hard tonight at 6pm, livestreaming myself levelling. Feel free to pop into the WGL youtube livestream (simply visit the WGL Youtube page at http://www.youtube.com/wgltv) for some epic force action (dark side style)

Love you all,

Mana WR

Can only understand what your saying, is the other guy French?

The Immortals are responsible for 2.9 billion of em anyway :D ...and that was just on Sunday :p

I spoke to one of the developer guys at eurogamer and he said they will add them after release :(

Isn't the codex already a type of achievement system?

Partially but I think an achievement system would be a good thing. I doubt I will raid (no time) and the PvP doesn't appeal as I don't really like battleground pvp so apart from some world PvP events with the guild I wont have much to do at endgame.

Achievements are a fun diversion which can give players something else to do and enjoy and I look forward to them implementing it.

Hi all,

Any chance of an invite to the Republic side guild on Frostclaw?
Character name is DinAlt a level 29.
I should be on for a good few hours tonight - otherwise who should I ask for an invite?

One disturbing discovery is the fact that Empire chat is far more juvenile than Republic on Kellian Jarro. I hadn't put a single person on ignore in all my levels on Republic, but in getting to level 15 on the Empire side, I've got a long list already. My experiences so far confirm my suspicions regarding demographics.

still not impressed with sentinels at level 44 compared to how faceroll sith inquesitors /counsulors are you have to play x4 better than most classes just to be decent

I noticed this as well. Although, in one Republic group I was in, one of the guys called me "mom" for suggesting that he wait and heal before jumping into heroic mobs at half health .

Earlier I was having a battle with a rather powerful boss and someone ran in and stole what he was guarding . I stood and watched him die beside another mob later :)

Not really a lot going on in chat on The Kumumgah. Certainly not that I've seen at any rate. There are more people about now though, certainly in the starting areas and one hopes they are not going to be too naughty. ;) The only time I've seen anything annoying is in PvP.

When I joined on the 20th there were between 7 and 15 people running around Hutta, earlier, while messing with an alt I saw 70+. I guess I should keep levelling to stay ahead of the crowd. :(

Had a great night tonight with The Immortals.

Took a night off levelling to have some random fun, took out 2 world bosses, ganked a load of Sith and generally had a real good time.

Great effort chaps and glad I made the time for a fun night :)

edit: special lol for the end of the night for the lovely sith who helped us onto the platform for the datacrons... then we knocked him off :D

Just finished d/ling this at last, which server would be best to join on the republic side? Haven't played an MMO in a couple years since LOTRO so need to put some decent hours in.
