Traffic stops, I guess the type of car does make a difference.

So you have an M5, thanks for telling us. ;)

Hardly boasting was he? It's not as if it's a £50k car, is it?

Asian male driving flash car in getting pulled over a lot shocker.

I don't know if the Nuneaton Asian wideboy krew are anything like the Manchester Asian wideboy krew but if they are similar (and given that it appears to be broadly the same everywhere else, that seems likely) then it is absolutely no surprise that they are the subject of heightened Police attention.

OP an M5 with a young looking driver is always going to get pulled, according to my uncle who is a traffic officer for Surrey police.

What the hell has it got to do with him being Asian? Utter drivel.

I have never been pulled.

Not even in the supra.

A guy at work constantly gets pulled in his 106 despite not driving like a loan, having all the legal requirements (tax, insurance, legal tyres etc). Becasue of some history on the reg on the car before his ownership.

I've never had any beef from the police either. I've had a chaved up hot hatch with a loud exhaust and now I have a chaved up omega with 2 loud exhausts :p. Plus I look like a small boy who's nicked his dads car.

Hate to admit it and don't want to start a thing about it but I think in some cases it plays a factor, stereotypes do start from somewhere.

Who did you buy the car from? Bet it makes an ANPR computer light up like a christmas tree

I always thought ANPR flags/markers get cleared after change of ownership?

I was routine stopped in my Mk4 Golf and put on my way. But after 3 years of 350z/Z4M and various company cars with my baby face, never pulled once.

I have no idea tbh. Would be very easy to work around though.

Get done for drugs/speeding etc, "sell" to your mate, mate "sells" it back. Hey presto ANPR clear!

I would imagine it is a lot more sophisticated than that.

I do have to say there are a certain type of car I always see pulled around here though.

usually MK4 Golfs or smaller hatchbacks like corsa's, saxo's etc. never really new cars.

I'm a Special Constable. So to answer your original question, yes I am.

I've only been pulled 4-5 times in my entire life. 3 of which were in the space of a month or so.

Ah i see my head is a mess at the minute lol.

Do special constables get to drive the cars too then , for some reason i only thought they did beat duty.
