Games you want to love but just don't get on with.

BF3 is far from clunky! amazing on my rig and 120hz 27" mon! never stutters smooth as sick!

and i get good hit reg!

Bad hit reg is an excuse people use for playing badly, sure it won't be perfect but it's always the same names having the issues with everything.

Please note it was PERFECT pre DLC release, With the patch it was PERFECT I never complained nor did anyone else

I can't stand skyrim. Who wants to go out chopping wood or hunting for a missing person when Dragons about to destroy the world! You wouldn't you'd go and kill the dragons. This makes 90% of this game missable and leaves only the main missions which are pretty easy.

Talking to people is annoying, and boring. The fighting systme seems clunky. The upgrade system seems over complex and don't get me started on the books.

I really don't love Skyrim despite playing it so much, it feels like a job, I've spent countless hours doing quests that turn out to be utter rubbish, I feel like not doing them all I'm missing out on 95% of the content and wondering why it isn't some on the rails fps, or doing ALL the content and finding out 70-80% of it is just crap.

BF3, I really have barely played since the launch, few days I played a bit but just couldn't get into it, no team play, or very little, maps that really didn't feel conducive to anything but sniping or vehicle stupidity or one map where everyone meets in the middle and its just daft. Bf2 was fun, and awesome, BF3 just feels, meh.

BF3 lately, mainly down to everyone as every man for himself :(

100% BF3 i have forced myself to play the MP so much but i just dont find it fun. I dont get involved enough in the action and just die from long range all the time
I've also failed to get into BF3 for these two reasons. Without squad VoIP, it feels like I'm playing with bots who refuse to engage in any sort of teamwork. It's not as though I haven't given it a chance, having played for almost 50 hours. I've just rebuilt my PC and I won't be re-installing BF3; it's just too frustrating.

People saying BF3 has no team play or its EM4H are playing in the wrong servers tbh. For me (and I was epically sceptical, hated alpha etc, etc) I think its the best BF games since 42. For gameplay its leagues ahead of BF2.

RPG's in general really, always wanted to like them, closest I got was playing Fallout 3 for quite a while but would really like to love Skyrim, Dragon Age and Mass Effect :(

Fallout 3 - should be a game I should love but something is missing

Skyrim - (though it must be said I'm getting into it more now) - just didn't grasp me at first (unlike MW and OB) - a situation made worse by the rubbish interface and glitches ( Award for trying to pass off an ancient game engine as a new one goes to Bethesda - Creation = Gamebryo)

BF3 & nobody is as ****** off about it as me. :(
I would have thought most on here know about my BF2 addiction so seeing me write the above should say plenty. I don't want anybody coming back at me about it either as it's a very sore point. + :p
Basically the PS3 controls for BF3 feel like you're in Porridge so I'm waiting for the patch/patches.
Happy with my MW3 but having BF3 sitting there & not being played really boils my ****.

/Rant

Fallout 3 - but i have since worked out that i should have played it with a xbox controller like i did skyrim, makes it feel much less like a console port if that makes sense.. it doesn't but whatever.

I was going to say Fallout 3, but i might give that controller idea a go. I recently bought Assassin's Creed 2 and hated it with KB/M but then loved it with the controller. Will have to dig out my Fo3 disks....
