Yes but I dont have the money to go out and spend £500 on a set of tyres right now until a few weeks.
So just trying to look for the best options to go for

Best thing to do is fit decent rubber. You just bought a nicely handling got hatch, don't waste it with cheap tyres.

Tyres mean a lot to me I have never fit cheap rubbish on my performance cars, just I used falkens for years and they have never let me down, used to have Bridgestone RE050 on it too and Pirello Rossp's and they were both excellent tyres

I've got 912 on the back of my gti6 and they are ok but no where near the michelin pe2s on the front

Well, 3MM is road legal isn't it 1.6mm, so personally, while I agree that changing them before going bald could you not just wait a couple of weeks?

stick a set of Conti Sport 3's on it, i just put 4 new ones on my ST3 and they are a good tyre. It had Conti CS2 before and since i got it in 2007.

I would have put the new CS5's as they are getting excellent reviews, but they dont fit the ST's alloys.

You got through a set of cs3s in just over a 5k miles? My cs3s are at 15k and still not quite needing replacement.

Nice car though. Eyeing one of these up for a future upgrade.

Isn't the FK452 a better tyre? If you like Falken why not go for those?

the FK452 is a better tyre than the ZE912, but neither are exactly brilliant tyres. The 452 is good value, but good value and just good are not the same thing....
