L.A. Noire is a steal seeing as its not long been out [on PC].

LA Noire is alright, worth that money anyway. It is locked at 30fps but it plays smooth enough. I grabbed Magicka complete
Just a heads up to anyone buying bioshock who owns an nvidia graphics card. Turn Ambient Occlusion in the nvidia control panel OFF before you start the game otherwise you'll get FPS in the region of about 20, regardless of how good your hardware is. Its been bugged since release and never fixed -.-

Also make sure you watch the fire at the start for at least 5 mins, that scene still blows me away, looks amazing

I am trying to get my missus into gaming as she says I spend too much time playing on my PC.
She likes gangster films. Is L.A Noire the kind of thing a girl could get into? Not really my cup of tea but was thinking we could play it together?

It's really slow passed you need to solve murders and stuff, its nothing like gta or anything like that imo.

Have you tried Saints Row the Third? She may enjoy that, gangsters and it is very funny to play

I don't want anything that requires too much dexterity for her. Not too much action if you know what I mean. She has never gamed and it looks like more of an interactive movie, like something we could sit down with a bottle of wine and enjoy together.
She is 39 btw.

Bioshock is a great game, the 2nd not so much. I hoped Dead Island would appear in the sale but it is the same price as the Daily Wishlist Giveaway sale so not that great unless you get the 4-Pack. Hitman Collection is decent if you don't own them and Magicka is a bargain price, its a great little fun (and funny) game which I can easily recommend.
As mentioned L.A. Noire is a good price but frankly I wasn't that impressed with it on the PS3, still if you like this style of game read a few reviews and go from there.
If you are considering HOARD it goes without saying do not buy the 4-Pack, the price is higher than the single price, instead of the usual lower. (Steam and their adding skills again!
