TO people who are not doing anything NYE

I've spent the evening feeling like death on my sofa interspersed with frequent trips to the bathroom! Not the most fun NYE I've ever had and probably the most ill I've ever felt thanks to catching my parents virus while visiting them over Christmas! :(

I was feeling a bit depressed and cried earlier on, but then I thought what's the point in being sad? Yeah I'm disappointed that my plans were cancelled tonight, but NYE is just like any other day really.. And anyway, NYE will be over in a couple of hours :)
 
If it makes you guys feel any better about your situations, I'm largely not going out because of gastrointestinal distress.
 
Browsing forums, watching TV, drinking wine. Same as usual really. Going out NYE is very overrated. Far to many idiots about.

I went out lastnight and still recovering from it


I may pop into town at about 11.30 if i feel like it...
(Right now i feel like being lazy and doing nothing)

Tell me about it !!! What is it about beating people up on New Years ?

I was down Trafalgar Sq .... ooooo.. it must be years back now and was having a great time when right out of the blue someone punched me in the face and I got laid in by a few guys.

Unfortunately for them they didn't realise that I was with my mates, one of whom was a burly security guard who kicked two shades of **** out of the guy who punched me :D
 
Wife gone out clubbin in London with friend and family, me at home playing BF3. My youngest daughter is a ill but sound a sleep now.
 
Well I will be spending the evening on my tod again. So, I shall spend the evening looking at stuff to get in the new year. I'm currently looking at replacing the speaker setup in my living room and eyeing up 335i's to replace the derv of fail.
 
I'm in Gran Canaria on hols. 2 year old dropped off a couple of hours ago followed shortly after by the wife. I'll try and wake them up for the fireworks but this will be the quietest NYE I've ever had, and it's marvellous.
