Hi i purchased this motherboard and other bits from ocuk, for my dad for xmas,

just wondering if you owners have any advice of tips for building the system with this motherboard, ie any 'must do's or settings'

i will have a read through the paperwork with him, but keen to hear from current owners, not quite sure what that 'M-Sata' stuff is, apart from it being a micro ssd.

the spec i have is below

Intel Core i5-2400 3.10GHz
Crucial RealSSD M4 64GB 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s Solid State Hard Drive
Gigabyte Z68AP-D3 Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard
Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 6450 1024MB GDDR3 PCI-Express Graphics Card (11190-02-20G)
Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit

I thought it would be useful too but I have not found anything to use it with yet, the SSD's are either way too expensive ie £200 or not really worth using ie 16gb ones from China/Taiwan.

One day though, one day.

its pretty straight forward stuff with this board. Depends if you want to try overclocking. Dont bother updating BIOS unless you really want to/have issues.
