sorry if this is already answered but is magicka any good for single player or is it MP only?

i found it quite hard tbh, ive only got to the third level but it is enjoyable now and then. the humour is quite good, not played multiplayer yet though

Done a few cases or events in LA Noire, and so far its quite a nice game, its short missions but interesting so for me its perfect as a hop in and out game. Gfx are nice enough maxed out. The notepad text could do with being a bit sharper tho.

Driving is ok, gun fights are ok, brawling is ok.

Imo if you like detective games with a little action but not a lot and enjoy cutscenes then id say go for it. If your expecting gta gun hoeing then dont get your hopes up. Not tried to explore much except look around buildings im suppose to go in incase i can find clues or ppl to talk to but so far nothings poped up but still nice to explore around a bit but as i said not really left the cases and just drove about.

Map seems huge.

It does what it set out to do and be a interactive story, which im pretty glad about as thats exactly what i thought it would be and it is. Like a modern Tex Murphy/csi/mafia type games. Defo mostly like mafia just with more detective work and being a cop instead of a crime figure.

Ah, LA Noire is too cheap. Bought it for £25 the other week. Can't complain though. It's a great game.

Also, finally bought Bioshock.

£23.44. It was a 33% discount if I remember correctly.

If Skyrim had hit sub £20 I'd have probably have grabbed it, I didn't get on that well with Oblivion though so not sure if I can justify £24 for a game I quite potentially won't play very much.

Couldn't resist LA Noire at that price, it was only a couple of days ago I was hovering over the buy button at Amazon or somewhere for 25 quid! Glad I waited.

If you like slower paced interactive style adventure games then yes, just don't expect lots of action/shooting, although I understand that there are occasional driving/shooting sequences.
