Looks like my current mobo has developed a fault and I need a replacement to take an i7 2600k and potentially allow me to over clock it to at least 4.6ghz.

Any models at the moment proving to be particularly popular ? I am staying away from Asus for the time being..

I have heard that Gigabyte are usually pretty solid. Not really any budget limit but around the £140 would be ideal.

Thanks

Gigabyte Z68X-UD5 Intel Z68 yes pretty solid.

Can personally vouch for the MSI P68A-C45 and the Asrock Extreme 4 gen 3 mobos. The former is very competant at overclocking on a budget whilst the later gives you vastly more control and the option of SLI.

gigabyte have much better customer service, rma service so i would go for them, next choice would be asus but they have poor after sales service imo
