Ah, that makes more sense. I hadn't gathered that was the op's problem... That being said, clarification of the problem would have been more appropriate than the stream of abuse he resorted to.
 
Such a shame to see that ants fool banned, such a loss to the forums, his technical knowledge was almost on par with the geniuses in purple.

a lot of people dont know the difference between cached memory and hardware reserved
 
We laugh, but people don't have a clue what they're buying. I often have to explain that just because it says dual core next to the pentium laptop that it won't be faster than the i3 based machine next to it (that fails to mention the dual core nature of the chip. Or that lots of software will only use core 0 so a fast dual core will be better than a slower quad for their everyday uses. Or that an i7 won't fix the delay caused by using a mechanical drive. How do you create POS that is clear to people who have to ask if it comes with the internet on it?

I'm surprised they don't just make laptops with 3 year old hardware in a shiny case. Oh wait, Dell already did that.
 
Thanks to ThundyCat for his actions in cleaning up this thread.

It started of as being quite interesting and amusing, but quickly degenerated into exchanges of silly (and some quite insulting) childish insults which, even in GD, are quite un-necessary.
