Steam Christmas Sale 2011

I've got a 25% already thanks.

Just hoping I could get a better deal than the current 33% off deal that is running now.

Spent way less than last year.

I don't think the sales were awful, its just I have bought so many games in the last 12months (including the last Christmas sales), that I have still got so many to play through, and now know I definitely wont get round to playing half the games I would consider buying. ( have 151 games, played 95!)

I am disappointed that I missed batman at £10 with greenmangaming, but then I havent completed the first one yet, so that can definitely wait.

I would have have liked dirt3 to go below £10. It is £7 retail at the moment, but then it is less of an impulse buy. Again - i am yet to complete dirt2 yet, so i don't know why I feel the need to buy dirt3!

If anyone is interested in the streetfighter 4-pack let me know, and we can start a thread in the members market. It is £37.48.

Dirt3 is just more of the same from Dirt2. You aren't missing much.

There are Warner Bros discount vouchers floating around (a mate of mine has a 33% one) for if/when you decide to get Batman.

Personally only interested in two of them and I already had them.

EA sale had newer games with bigger % discounts than the Steam sale. Like BF3 / Crysis 2 50% off for example. Or Bulletstorm £5 etc.

As I understand it, EA are responsible for the discounts on Steam, just as they are on Origin. So the higher price on Steam is to account for the cut steam take so they don't lose out on any profit.

@pgi - Close steam, delete the .blob, restart steam. If its made payment it should work, steam might just need a kick to get going.

i have 5 pieces of coal, 25% off sega 25% off valve and half life 2 bit crap really id happily give all my vouchers for 2 more pieces of coal to chance what i might win

Finally bought a game Broken Sword 3 for £0.99, loved the 1st two games.

Also the Director's Cut of the 1st game is only £1.24, its worth every penny :D

As for C&C4, if some one gave it to me I would take it as an insult!

Directors cut is fun, added some nice extras when I played it this time last year :)

3 does have a lot of box puzzles though...
