Games you've started but not finished (and likely never will)...

OK so I'm pretty bad at this so I can think of about a dozen off the top of my head...

Dragon Age Origins (60-75% completed)
Dragon Age 2 (10-25% I guess)
Deus Ex:HR (25%?)
Half Life 2: Ep1 (50%?)
Mass Effect (although completed 2 and all DLC)
Crysis (Just after alien ship)
Metro (50-75%)
BF3 (Barely started... all about the multi player...)
S.T.A.L.K.E.R (Barely started...)
GTA IV (not started on PC but got about half way on PS3)

OK not quite a dozen off the top of my head but these are the story based games (not counting sports, puzzlers, online etc) I've started and not finished that I've got installed on my main PC.



...What's your list?

Anyone want to pitch in on which ones I should make the effort to see through to the bitter (sweet) end? :confused::)

Final fantasy 9 -- Did what I thought was the final boss, ended up at memoria and thought sod this. I know a couple of other people who did exactly the same as well.

I don't complete most of my games. The Call of duties I do as the stories aren't very long. If the game is one main story I try to complete that but side missions don't get done

Definitely give Dragon Age Origins a proper go, it is a fantastic game. I loved Deus Ex:HR but chances are that if you played a quarter of it and didn't like it then there isn't much later in the game to change your mind.

I find it strange that you haven't completed Mass Effect yet have ME2 +DLC, the first game is bit more epic than the second and generally thought of as the better game(little in it imo)

The Stalker games are tough to get in to but worth it imo, though I perfectly understand why a lot of people do not 'get' them.
 
Dragon Age Origins. I tried it 3 times now, got to the same point on each try and i just get distracted with something else and don't go back to it :(

Crysis - I'm probably 5-10 minutes till the ending of the game, but I really cba.

Assassin's creed - it's become all glitchy for some reason

HL2 - plan on finishing it so I can start ep1 and 2!

Fallout 3 - I wanna finish this, it takes a while to get into the groove

Metro 2033 - I'm slowly getting there, not sure I'll finish at this rate

Batman AA - Think I'll finish this, but lent my game to a friend, so need to get it back

GTA EFLC - Just not as absorbing as GTA IV imo.

Bad Company 2 - who cares about offline mode?
 
Morrowind & Oblivion. I'll probably go back to other games i've left unfinished but..I just cant see myself getting through these :(
 
Thief: Deadly Shadows - played the first few mins, hated it.

X2 - installed, played, then quickly uninstalled it and binned it.

GTA EFLC - What a boring expansion

Fallout Vegas - not a patch on Fallout 3, seemed so repetative.

NFS Hot Pursuit - Don't even know what I bothered purchasing this game, after Most Wanted, its gone downhill and its not stopped.

I don't think there is a game which I have started but not finished tbh. I haven't completed the SP of BF3, but that hardly counts does it.....

Actually Aliens vs Predator i never finished, in fact I barely even started it really, it didn't take long to realise that it wasn't very good.
 
None, i grew out of buying games i wont play when i sold my Amiga at the age of 14.

Cant see the point in buying games that i would not play/complete. Took me well over a year to complete Baldurs Gate and another few years to complete Icewind dale.
I didnt buy anything in the steam sales because i bought about 4 games from GoG that will last me ages. Sure ill play other games inbetween but they will get completed.

Let's not talk about the games I own but have not even started (I think 30 or 40)

There are a lot more games that I have started, just to have a look and I am unlikely to complete, but I don't want to write off just yet. This includes dragon age, the whitcher 2, fallout 3, fAllout 1, kotor and many more.
