Games you've started but not finished (and likely never will)...

My problem is im SO slow at playin em I complete games rarely (I finished Oblivion a month before Skyrims release lol)

Fallout 3: 20% completed, finding it a bit dull TBH

GTA IV: 30% completed, such rubbish (technical) performance that it made me uninstall it. I really hope they dont make the same mistake with GTA V.

Farcry 1 & 2 got them over a year ago in the steam Xmas sale 2010 and just discovered there are mutants in them there caves in FC1.

long list.
GTA4 + EFLC -Missions bored me, also after GTASA, going back to just a city killed all the fun for me.
SW-KOTOR - dont know what the hype was about???
Gothic 2+3 - Dull, didnt hold my attention for more than 30min.
The Last Remnant - ashamed to say i found it too difficult, got stuck quite early on, got bored and left it.
Bioshock 1+2 - looks pretty but that was about it for me, story line just didnt interest me.
Hard Reset - Again, very pretty looking game, but storyline bores me and far too repetitive.
Sniper Ghost Warrior - again very much the same, looks great plays rather dull.
The Witcher 2 - still very very early on in the game but just cant keep my attention on it for any length of time, may still go back to this when i dont have the pull of any other games to distract me.
Dragon Age 2 - not a patch on the first
Farcry 2 - boring, looks more like a tech demo for the Cry engine.
Oblivion - really really wanted to like this, especially after all the hours i put into Morrowind, but just couldnt, loved the graphics, but the story just didnt interest me, i really grinded on quite far with the game especially with some side missions but in the end it just got put down to gather dust, never did finish it, loved the shivering isles expansion though, might go reinstall and take a different approach go down the arrow wielding assasin route like i did with skyrim and see if i can reach the end.
Assasins Creed 1+2 - too repetitive.
thats just the games i have on steam or other Digital Download systems, dosnt include all the physical media games i have.

OK so I'm pretty bad at this so I can think of about a dozen off the top of my head...

Dragon Age Origins (60-75% completed) Not started
Dragon Age 2 (10-25% I guess) Not owned
Deus Ex:HR (25%?)Completed
Half Life 2: Ep1 (50%?) Completed
Mass Effect (although completed 2 and all DLC) Maybe 5% in
Crysis (Just after alien ship) Completed
Metro (50-75%) Maybe 10% in or so
BF3 (Barely started... all about the multi player...) Barely started also
S.T.A.L.K.E.R (Barely started...) Completed SoC and Clear Sky. Get to properly start CoP
GTA IV (not started on PC but got about half way on PS3) 99% complete, on last mission ;)

OK not quite a dozen off the top of my head but these are the story based games (not counting sports, puzzlers, online etc) I've started and not finished that I've got installed on my main PC.

...What's your list?

Anyone want to pitch in on which ones I should make the effort to see through to the bitter (sweet) end?:)

Currently on my list:

Assassins Creed: Brotherhood - Maybe 10% into it
Darksiders - Loved it, but got stuck in the dark cathedral bit :(
Crysis Warhead - Maybe 50% in
FarCry - Still never managed to finish it, about 50%

Plenty more games I've still not started properly though :) I will get round to completing these games soon!

GTA IV (PC)-Started this once and got about half way through doing the missions, then for some odd reason lost my save game..however im playing it again now and i am past where i lost my save game,Good game so far.

Far Cry 2 (PC)-Got boring and gave up.
Crysis 2 (PC),cant remember why just stopped.
LA Noire (360)Just hardly play the 360,but will continue it soon.
BF3 (PC)Playing the multiplayer to death, but singleplayer has not really kept me attention yet.

Skyrim, all GTA's and CoD singleplayer as everytime I get the new game of CoD I go straight into multiplayer.

Mass Effect - completed ME2, not a fan of the first one's interface.
Amnesia - started it, it bugged, cant be bothered to start again
Fallout 3 - killed everyone, game became impossible to play
Super MeatBoy - good for short blasts, wont ever finish it
Dragon Age: Origins - played for an hour, couldnt get into it
Dead Space - didnt like the controls
Torchlight - got bored
Lara Croft & TGOL - got bored
Skyrim - from what I hear it's massive and doubt I'll stick to it all the way through

The only ones are a few of the very cheap steam sale games that I only buy as a punt, such as the Ghost Recon ones. Another was Zombie Shooter, way too repetitive for me, and lacking in too many areas to justify me firing it up again.

Dragon Age: Origins
Dragon Age: Awakening

I think those are the only 2 recent pc games I have that I've not yet completed. Just seem to lose interest in them.
I don't really buy many games tho.

Mostly play multiplayer games so when I get bored of singleplayer games they get left for months, then I'll pick them up again but seems dragon age is one of those games that takes so much time.
Still love dragon age tho.

Crysis - I'm probably 5-10 minutes till the ending of the game, but I really cba. I think I'm in the same boat as you

Assassin's creed - it's become all glitchy for some reason

HL2 - plan on finishing it so I can start ep1 and 2! Well I can't talk about the episodes but HL2 itself is immense

Fallout 3 - I wanna finish this, it takes a while to get into the groove THe ending came quite unexpectedly for me so it might for you too

Metro 2033 - I'm slowly getting there, not sure I'll finish at this rate same

Batman AA - Think I'll finish this, but lent my game to a friend, so need to get it back

GTA EFLC - Just not as absorbing as GTA IV imo.

Bad Company 2 - who cares about offline mode?
Same on PS3!

Assasins Creed 2 - stopped playing, never got round to playing again.
Dead Rising - stopped playing after about 10mins of gameplay, hated it.
Halo Reach - dreadfull stopped playing after first hour or so.
Blur - found the game really fun actualy, some reason just dident come round to playing it again
Medal of Honour - stopped playing the game half way through :/.

OK so I'm pretty bad at this so I can think of about a dozen off the top of my head...

Half Life 2: Ep1 (50%?)
S.T.A.L.K.E.R (Barely started...)
GTA IV (not started on PC but got about half way on PS3)

Anyone want to pitch in on which ones I should make the effort to see through to the bitter (sweet) end?:)

half life you really should complete. it might be slightly dated, but it still holds its own today

stalker is also well worth completing. since youve barely started i would suggest downloading the complete mod:
http://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-complete-2009
im not sure which stalker your talking about, but all 3 have complete mods available. the mod keeps the story and gameplay the same, but makes everything else much better. there is no point playing through without the mod before you install the mod because it really doesnt change the story at all

GTAIV on the PC is also well worth it, mostly because of the mods. install the ICenhancer, realistic driving and flying, Viva new york, realistic rain and thunder and a bunch of vehicle replacements and youve got yourself a visual stunner
(if you have the steam version, try to stop it from updating to version 1.0.7.0, because ICenhancer isnt working for it yet)

GTAIV, it would seem every time I get 10+ hours into it something happens that results in my save going missing, usually a dead hard drive or format without thinking. Now I just don't bother, did manage to complete the episodes however.

Half Life - never got past the first 10 minutes or so when it came out, and then when I tried it a year or so ago got frustrated at how "quick" the movement was and even when "walking" the precision was rubbish - and I've still yet to even get to the surface. I honestly think that I'm never going to get round to finishing it now!

Half Life 2 - Same story as above... got as far as the airboat bit, but not any further before getting annoyed by the movement and control - guess I'm just not a fan of the Half Life movement/control system. However, I've completed and loved Portal & Portal 2

GTA IV - I think I'm on the final mission, with the boat/helicoptor - if I get to the heli section, the controls are just goddamn awful, and I always lose the other heli, which means starting the whole darn mission again!

I tend to switch off from games if I have a section that I can't seem to get past, and with Steam and so many games, I can't seem to concentrate any more for hours on one game, which I think is a bit of a shame as I'm missing out on a lot.
