They definitely need to to increase xp for objectives and decrease xp for kills. A multiplier is actually quite a good idea. You should also get bonus xp at the end of matches if you've captured the most flags/planted or defused bombs etc.

Give up playing anything other than TDM.

I only play Kill Confirmed or S&D in this game. I find other modes are ruined by the spawn system. Kill confirmed is excellent to get a load of points. Stick Specialist on and run around like a loony collecting every single dog tag you see and you'll get loads of xp.

Anyone fed up with MW3, I suggest trying BF3.

Before Nov I wouldn't had dreamed of playing BF3, but a month of frustration from MW3 finally pushed me over the edge! I'm really enjoying BF3, and have managed to sway 5 of my mates to it too! is it strange playing a map for 20+ minutes, coming away with 10-15 kills but being satisfied you've had an awesome game.
 
BF3 and MW3 are 2 totally different games though. I have both and enjoy both but I feel you have to be in the right frame of mind to play BF3 as it takes a lot more concentration. With MW3 you can just stick it in and away you go. Plus BF£ is totally crap if you don't have a full squad of mates.
 
Clueless teammates are excruciating on Battlefield comparatively the frustration potential is off the scale. I used to like BC2 when I could help a noob team push on in rush with the UAV, but once they nerfed the missile reload and explosive damage to the MCOMs it wasn't so much fun.
 
I'm all about the run and gun, I still do it on BF3 but calmed down in areas where you'll die quickly. I played for 2 weeks by myself and didnt have to many issues without a decent squad behind me, but it certainly does help a lot.

TDM is still quite frantic I found, but I tend to only play Rush (Like demolition) people mostly try to actually complete the objectives. Which is nice.

Naturally you still get frustrating games when nothing goes right, but not as many as MW3 because you have time to breath..... then jump in a tank and destroy them.


I've been COD only since COD4 (just after GOW2 came out and found that a massive disappointment) but I just found that MW3, you just had no option but to move constantly and hope no-one spawned behind you. I just found it so frustrating, impossible to flank, impossible to have any type of team play. It just seemed like they didnt put any real effort into the game, and took so many backwards steps compared to Black Ops (which I loved)
 
I like to run and gun too, but you can't one man army a win in BC2 so much there are 1000s square metres of terrain, trees and bushes for people to conceal themselves in or just lie in wait in. The UAV was just an example of least frustrating way to play with randoms.

If you get in a tank you need a capable machine gunner or your going to be toast too.

MW3 impossible to flank? I don't think so.

Well that's me retired from duty :D

Finished level 80, usual domination tactics just trying to get points.

193 wins 22 losses. 8.77 win ratio. 47 win streak. I played no more than 15 games without at least 3 in a party and maybe 3 games solo that left me rage filled on domo while people camped the outside of the map with zero interest in the points :D

Tonight was the first night in a while where I haven't been crippled by lag. :)
 
In previous CoD games I've always played with a large party but in this I usually only play with one person which is probably why I've found it the most rageworthy game by far now I think about it.

Nothing like a teammate going 2-16 to anger you :p

speaking as a player of both BF3 can be just as infuriating as MW3, just for different reasons.

Thats ridiculous lol. In all fairness my k/d is pretty good, MW2 it was 3.20. Now it's 2.1. I don't really play for kd just try get an enjoyable game but I like playing for objectives = more points. My win loss is pretty bad due to the fact the ps3 throws you into a game midway on the losing team or even worse throws me into a game right away on a map I don't like, like fallen, village etc just don't get on with those maps at all so as a result I quit back out, but that counts as a loss even though I never spawned :S?

The trick is to have a good KDR and an even better W/L, I would say playing with the guys on here that 85% of the games we play are a push over but then you get the 15% when up against a likewise team that means using the good'ol tryhard class (If you wonder what that is take a look at oneshots vids above perfect class to get lots of kills on the maps he played on) I have changed most of my classes now to get the max xp I can from challenges rather than objective points and things like that simply because the yield is far greater.

This prestige (6th at about level 50 I would be higher but Skyrim needs a lot of attention too) all I have left to pro is blindeye and Extreme conditioning which I am working on along with stupid gun attachments and things like that, I have to be honest I have no idea how anyone can complete every attachment for a gun in one night considering how bad the tubes and shotgun attachments on them are those I have left alone as they are pointless.
 
Part of me wishes that stats would be removed from this game as I spend far too much time thinking about kdr and not enough time just enjoying the game.

If you're that bothered about it eject and reload the game before the map fully loads. I don't know how well that works out on a PS3, but it's a breeze on a 360 with autoplay on. Double eject stops and reloads the game.

this is madness! They are perfect pred > reaper > AC130 maps to rack up an easy ridiculous amount of kills lol

I got 41 - 0 yesterday doing this, somewhat 'cliché' but its fun :p
 
Trying to weigh up whether it's worth it to prestige or not.

I hammered my KDR doing the attachment challenged on my guns and Proing out my perks, and am trying to working it back up. Also stupidly used my prestige tokens on double XP.

If I go back and prestige in the old games that I haven't yet done it in (CoD4, WaW) would I get two more additional tokens so I can at least unlock a useful gun?

Only you can answer that. My Modern Warfare token took me longer than a MW3 prestige so I don't see the point really post release. The more I'm unlocking and playing with the less likely I am to ever start again.
 
anyone who has got the get rich or die trying achevement.

did you save from the begining or buy stuff and the money will comes as you get more waves?
