usb cable storage solutuons?

Like a lot of people I take pride in my man corner by keeping my rig/desk as tidy as possible so I can concentrate on the important things in life like surfing the net and playing games. In fact, my desk are is probably the only area about which I'm bothered to keep tidy, the rest of the house is left to the wife

The only thing that keeps my desktop from being super clean is that there are always ipod/iphone/camera/kindle/etc usb cables that are regularly used and plugged in and out of the pc, so I want to know what geniu solutuons do others use to store these annoying cables when you are using a desk which has no storage space??

desk space isnt the problem- I just dont like having the various syncing cables sitting on the desk- even wrapping them neatly doesnt look nice- I may end up buying the ocuk mug to put them in lol

I think this would be at mvguyver+ level, depends on how hardcore you want to get.

Don't think they're actually available though and it would require some hole making. There's obviously a gap in the market to exploit for someone?

my desk is a plain table thing from ikea- I needed it so I could have my full tower case underneath as well as be able to push my chair in so theres no room for a desk drawer

What about a small jewellery-box-type-thing you could put on your desk?

How about one of these:

Measures 100mm long, by 85mm high, designed to be screwed to the rear of the desk (you could use sticky pads of course!) Slots are 5mm wide.
Was quickly knocked up on the laser. Can be made in pretty much any colour (I stock about 15 different colours) and redesigned to suit!
