And in two different areas! Must be all of those holiday temps

Late December, laptop battery from Japan - box obviously tampered with and retaped, went to work reception so they didn't sign as damaged as they didn't know what it was/weight etc.. lucky they believed me and refunded.

Today i opened a box that supposed to have a raid controller in it + 4 cables, no controller, but i got 4 red Sata cables! woot! Came Saturday but i was not in all weekend, girl signed for it. No sign of tampering, but the sides were not taped, so anyone could open it and close it.. Sent the seller a message, hopefully we'll resolve without issue.

One delivered in Colindale, one in Edmonton.. must be a big take!
Anyone else got done? :(

Were the couriers DHL and Citylink? My previous work (PC reseller) had laptops go missing because depot temps would slit boxes underneath and re-seal, so the drivers would see said boxes as intact as they're only looking at the top side of the box, and of course we get disgruntled customers on our tech line because of delays caused and having to spec up new machines at our expense. DHL and Citylink would play this card on us a couple of times a year each and the laptop supplier Acer etc just don't want to know.

Royal mail and DHL.

Every Christmas I'd come running downstairs to the big pile of presents and start unwrapping them as fast as I could. Sometimes there would be fights over who had the best toys but we would all make up later and sit down to have a three hour lunch before watching TV for the rest of the day.

I really miss working at the Royal Mail sorting office.
