The most life changing thing (good and bad) you've done recently

Best: Went back to uni, met nice people and am doing something productive in a nice new environment.

Worst: Spent more than half of last year unemployed discovering it's hard and silly to force a job that isn't happening for me right now.

June - Got Fired for summut stupid!.. - D'oh!

July - Depressive Spiral.. - :(

August - Got a New Job that I love!.. - YAY!

October - I got Married - Double YAY!

November - Started trying for a family!! - Woo-Hoo!

December - Fell off the Chocolate Wagon BIG TIME and put on a stone!! - D'oh!

When my wife found out I was only a private first class 2 she made me promise that I would put more time into BF3 or risk our marriage.

I played bf3 non-stop the first few days it came out and she got sick of it and just left... ironically, she bought me the game for my birthday...

Spent 3 months with my twin boys in intensive care . They was born at 25 weeks . Ive never prayed as much in all my life . It has changed my life for ever , and for the better . Seeing your sons fighting for there life changes everything .

How long ago and how are they now? 25weeks is pretty high risk. My boy was 28 weeks, spent three months in neo natal intensive care. Know the feeling pal. He's fine now though.

Yes it does change you for the better.

Good luck with everything.

I know the feeling guys, both my girls needed NICU care (different reason for my eldest), my youngest could have been born at 28 weeks but we managed to eeek and extra 4 weeks out before Mrs. K had a c-section. She is fine now and being 5lb 1oz at 32 weeks helped. In total we spent 9 weeks in NICU for my eldest and 4 weeks for our youngest. :)

Having moved to Bordeaux in September. I am a bit of a homebird, so it was a really big deal for me and I am really glad I made the leap. :)

It's funny how that happens isn't it? Pretty much the same for me but mines a Hema sword art.

Ah~ Wouldn't mind trying that one day, would love to swing a Claymore around.

What made you get into HEMA and not any of the others? Have you ever thought about taking up Kendo?

Highly recommend it.

Nothing like death to wake one up to a life changing experience.
3 funerals in a row (in the space of one week) - one uncle, second was a family friend and third was a friend.

Makes one wonder how precious our time really is....

After 41 years of buying 'named' guitars I actually bought a no named guitar that suits my playing style and hands like a glove which as suddenly propelled my skills beyond what I was formerly capable of doing.
It's probably something a lot of you won't grap but for me it has been life changing

Split up with my girlfriend of two and a half years tonight. It ended hopefully on good terms as neither of us had done anything particularly wrong and I instigated the split.

Short term I'm regretting it a little bit but given time I think it will be for the best

Onwards and upwards!

Lost my Gran in August only a month after she was diagnosed.

Positively though I graduated university and got my first job as a teacher and got a house with my boyfriend. xx
