Hi,

I was wondering whether anyone could give me a list of parts for a water cooling loop that cools my Z68 chipset, 2 SLI EVGA GTX 560's and my intel core I5 socket 1155. I have a coolermaster HAF X case which is apparently good for water cooling. Also if need be-could someone tell me how I could mount a radiator or reservoir onto the back of my case without the use of tools (eg. without drilling holes in the back of my case.)

I am new to this kind of thing-this is also my first computer build.

Any help I would happily take in.

Thanks a lot :)

First step is youtube
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6qpkigby5w&list=PLECDD4BEAF5D8B1A1&index=3&feature=plpp_video

explains the basics and there is part 2 of that video listed as well

Then look for other watercooling builds with your case and see how other people have done it and then look at the kit they are using..
Build a kit list up, reading reviews etc and then post back and others more experienced than I will check it and help you..

There isn't a quick way to do this, it needs planning and a lot of research

I don't know your case, but if it is big you might find you can mount everything inside?

You can mount a 360 rad internally.

I'd normally tell you to click at the red link in my sig, but Zefan molested it :(

As edgedemon said, do LOADS of research.

yes with a couple of rad's, a 360 and a 240, or maybe 2 x 360's just to be sure?

This is just from a quick search on youtube to see what others have cooled their sli setups with..

With that setup you could get away with just a thick 360, but an extra 120 wouldn't hurt :D

You can put the res at the back, rad at the top, pump at the bottom

we mount 360 rads on the top infact it's one of the easiest cases to do it in if I'm honest. The EK thick 360 fits in no problem and you could easily fit a stealth 120 on the back if you wanted a bit more.

Plenty of room in the case to manage it and it's one of the few cases I personally think looks good with a Bay Res

I have searched up water cooling parts and here's my current idea;

One of the rads should be thick

the HAFX isn't very nice to large tube res so a 150 may be better.

May aswell get a D5 for £20 extra when your already spending so much.

And change the tubing to masterkleer :)
